Con Sheehan will soon crank up the activity and is due to have two fights within a week.

The undefeated County Tipperary heavyweight (1-0) recently teamed up with Peter Fury and now trains alongside world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.

Sheehan is a former Irish amateur standout and, after signing a deal with MGM Marbella, has been handed two dates.

He will next appear in a ring at the Tudor Grange Leisure Centre in Solihull, on September 24, as part of a card being hosted by MGM Birmingham which features fellow Irishman Tyrone McKenna.

The 27-year-old, whose deal with the Puerto Banus-based management company was confirmed on Friday, is then set to box on October 1 in Manchester, before potentially fighting in Ireland ahead of the end of the year.

Management at MGM Marbella are delighted to be working with Team Fury on Sheehan and have said that they “look forward to a fantastic future with this amazing talent,” who made his professional debut in the United States in January.

“[He] is a great addition to the heavyweight division."
