POWER PUNCH CONNECT FESTIVAL – NBC SPORTS FIGHT NIGHT: 3/24/2012 – BROOKLYN, NY

The comebacking Zab Judah and Tomasz Adamek put on power punching displays Saturday night on NBC’s Fight Night from Brooklyn, NY, as did rising American heavyweight prospect Bryant Jennings.  

Judah overwhelmed the previously undefeated Vernon Paris, landing 61% of his power shots before ending the fight in round nine. 

Adamek, who won a ten round decision, fought off the serious challenge of fringe contender Nagy Aguilar, landing 56% of his power shots.  Adamek also landed an avg. of 12 of 35 jabs thrown per round- doubling the hvt. avg. of six landed jabs per round.

The athletic Jennings, in only his 13th pro fight, landed 58% of his power shots in taking apart former WBO hvt. champ Sergei Liakhovich.
