The Cleotis Pendarvis-Vernon Paris clash that was scheduled for March 21st will now take place on a different date and venue.

The scheduled 12 round bout will now take place at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles, CA on April 19th, All Star Boxing Promotions matchmaker Pete Hironaka.

The bout was originally scheduled to take place at the Quiet Cannon in Montebello, a suburb located east of Downtown Los Angeles. There were even rumors that the bout was being shopped around for networks to buy.

Hironaka dismissed those rumors, only saying the bout was agreed to move back to April 19th.

Pendarvis is scheduled to defend his USBA junior welterweight title.

Pendarvis (17-4-2, 6 KOs) was stopped in the fourth round by Dierry Jean on May 10th. The loss snapped a five-bout winning streak.

In his last bout on May 10th, Paris (28-1, 16 KOs) won a 10 round unanimous decision over Manuel Perez.

The March 21st card in Montebello will continue with a six-bout card. In the main event, bantamweights Ricardo Rodriguez (8-1, 3 KOs) and Ricardo Alvarado (7-1, 6 KOs) square off in a scheduled six round bout.
