BoxingScene.com spoke to legendary Top Rank Promotions CEO Bob Arum the future of former champion Kermit Cintron (32-3-1, 28 KOs), should he get beyond his July 9 clash with tough Carlos Molina (18-4-2, six KOs), who is riding an unbeaten streak of 10-0-1 that includes two stoppages and who himself never has been knocked out.

Arum floated the idea of a Cintron clash with Philadelphia's unbeaten, 28-year-old welterweight prospect Mike Jones (24-0, 18 KOs), who has a June 25 bout opposite Raul Monoz (22-13-1, 16 KOs) at his hometown South Philly Arena.

"If Kermit Cintron wins, then he goes right into the mix. We've got a lot of good welterweights that we could put  him in with. Maybe Mike Jones. There are a lot of good spots there. Kermit Cintron against Mike Jones would just be a good local fight there in Atlantic City, and I think that it would draw really well," Arum told BoxingScene.com.
