MGM Grand, Las Vegas - Junior middleweight prospect Chris Pearson (12-0, 9KOs) won a ten round unanimous decision over Said El Harrak (12-2, 7KOs). The scores 98-92, 99-91 and 99-91.Pearson was able to outbox Harrak most of the way and landed the more telling blows, but Harrak did have his moments and came on strong in spots. Pearson suffered a cut above his left eye during the action; referee Jay Nady never clearly indicated if the cut was from a punch or a clash of heads.

Rising super middleweight contender Jesse Hart (17-0, 14KOs) beat down Mike Jimenez (17-1, 11KOs) round after around until referee Tony Weeks had seen enough and stopped the fight during the sixth as Jimenez was about to go down.

The big event started off with a welterweight contest, and saw Brad Solomon (25-0, 9KOs) barely escape the jaws of defeat with a ten round split decision win over Adrian R. Granados (14-5, 9KOs). The scores were 96-94 for Solomon, 96-94 for Granados, 96-94 for Solomon. Solomon banked several rounds early on but started to fade as the fight went along. He was in serious trouble and ready to go in the tenth and final round, but time ran out.
