WBC silver junior flyweight champion Yessica "Kika" Chavez (19-3-2, 4KOs) has rejected a proposal to face Yesica Bopp (25-1, 11KOs) in a trilogy bout in Argentina. Bopp won a ten round unanimous decision over Chavez in 2009, in Argentina. She flew over to Mexico to face Chavez in a rematch, and lost her undefeated record by way of a ten round unanimous decision. Because only Chavez's title was at stake, Bopp is still the WBO/WBA junior flyweight champion.

Bopp returns on December 7th against a yet to be finalized opponent at Club Los Padres Capuchinos in Concordia, Entre Rios, Argentina. Chavez has a very tough fight this coming Saturday, as she battles Arely Mucino (18-2-1, 10KOs) in Coacalco, Mexico.
