Mexico's César Juárez (20-5, 15 KO's) has finished up his training camp at the Ring Central gymnasium in Mexico City.

He is right on schedule to make the 122-pound weight limit for Saturday's fight in Accra, Ghana , where he will compete for the interim super bantamweight word title of the World Boxing Organization against local slugger Isaac Dogboe (17-0, 11 KO's).

"I feel very happy with this preparation, happy and motivated, we trained at a hundred percent in the fitness portion of the camp. I feel ready for this great challenge, I'm going to go to Ghana to win and put the name of Mexico on a high spot," said Cesar in conversation with ESPN Deportes.

Juarez and Dogboe will clash for the interim title after full champion Jessie Magdaleno suffered a wrist injury and he was unable to defend his title against Juarez in a mandatory fight. Magdaleno now has a defense scheduled for the month of March in California against an opponent to be confirmed.

Magdaleno will have to eventually make a mandatory defense against the winner of Saturday's fight.

"We are only working lightly at the moment to stay on weight. We will come in there to Ghana at about two pounds [over the limit]. Right now we are just working light... jumping the rope, shadow boxing, the mitts and some strategy for the fight. We did a great job, we were losing weight little by little and I do not feel at all tired or worn out like in other occasions," said Juarez.

"First the fight was going to be with Magdaleno but he could not defend his title, and then later he went with Marlon Tapales, a very strong Filipino who comes from being world champion and he said he was not ready to fight me, I guess he measured the danger because in the Philippines everyone knows me and they even gave me the name of the 'Devourer of Filipinos'.

"And finally it will be Dogboe who said he was ready. I'm going to give a good fight, he's a very tough and complete opponent. Speaking in boxing terms - they say he's the best fighter in Africa since Azumah Nelson, so it's going to be a war between Mexico and Ghana and I'm sure we're going to win."

To get to Accra, Ghana, Juarez will leave at noon on Thursday from Mexico City heading to Atlanta, then make a second stop in Singapore and close with the arrival in Ghana after a good number of hours in the air.
