MGM Grand, Las Vegas - Former welterweight champion Carlos Quintana (29-3, 23KOs) knocked out Deandre Latimore (23-4, 17KOs) in the sixth round of a junior middleweght fight. Quintana captures the vacant NABO championship.

Quintana used his fire and experience to take the early rounds and by the fifth he was punishing Latimore with crisp combinations against the ropes. Latimore was bothered by a cut that he suffered above his left eye in the second round.

In the sixth round, Quintana battered Latimore with a series of punches to send him crashing down to the mat and he was unable to beat the count as referee Kenny Bayless waved it off.
