Junior welterweight contender Pablo Cesar Cano (26-3-1, 20KOs) hs promised to return even stronger after losing a twelve round decision to former three division world champion "Sugar" Shane Mosley on Saturday night in Cancun. Cano has fought most of his career at 140-pounds and lower, but his last two contest took place at the welterweight limit.

"I lost, but I will still return in good fights. I'm not ashamed, I lost to one of the best in the world, and now I have to keep working," Cano said.

Mosley praised his 23-year-old opponent.

"He was a great opponent He punches very hard, but more than that he's a warrior. He has a great future, but I think it takes more [more than he has right now] to beat [me]. A few times I was looking to knock him out, but he was tough," Mosley said.
