Former three division world champion "Sugar" Shane Mosley (46-8-1, 39KOs), 41-years-old, has not secured a victory since knocking out Antonio Margarito in January of 2009. One Saturday he steps in the ring for his first fight outside of the United States and takes on Pablo Cesar Cano (26-2, 20KOs) for the vacant WBC International welterweight title in Cancun, Mexico.

"First I want to say that Mosley wrote and continues to write his history. But I've come here to write my own. This will be the toughest fight of my career, but am I thinking of losing, or that Mosley is old? I'm not thinking about any of that. [I look at him as] still being in his peak and being one of the biggest names in boxing history. I'm looking for the best Mosley, the one who beat Oscar de la Hoya, and Margarito. This fight is very important to me. I will win and celebrate like I was getting a world title," Cano said.
