Junior welterweight “Sugar” Cain Sandoval will headline against Romero Duno in a scheduled 10-round fight on Aug. 31 at Chumash Casino Resort in Santa Ynez, California.

The 21-year-old Sandoval (11-0, 9 KOs), of Sacramento, who began his professional career with 11 consecutive knockout wins, most recently cruised to wide decisions over Javier Molina and Angel Rebollar, in February and April, respectively.

“It’s been too long since my last knockout,” Sandoval said. “On Saturday, Aug. 31,  a new knockout streak will commence.”

Duno (26-4, 20 KOs), from Miami by way of the Philippines, has fought top-level opposition throughout his 10-year career, including fights against top contenders Ryan Garcia, Frank Martin and Christian Gonzalez. Most recently, Duno, 28, battled world-ranked contender Antonio Moran in January, coming up short in a scheduled 10-rounder.

“This fight is the most important fight of my career, so I'm going to give and do everything to come out victorious,” Duno said. “I'm a warrior, and the only reason I fight is to win.”

Sandoval-Duno tops a “Hollywood Fight Nights” card from Tom Loeffler, head of 360 Promotions, and will be broadcast globally on UFC Fight Pass.
