WBA "regular" featherweight champion Celestino "Pelenchín" Caballero (35-4, 23 KOs, 35 years old) has promised to secure a big win for his legion of fans in Panama. The two division world champions has closed out his training at the Teiken Boxing Gym in Tokyo, and he's ready to face Japanese challenger and WBA #8 world ranked Satoshi "Bazooka" Hosono (21-1, 15 KOs, 27 years old) on Saturday, December 31, at the Yokohama Bunka Gym.

"The work is already done. I left the gym today a half pound under the agreed weight limit [of 126-pounds]. Panama will get my success in Japan. To all of the Panamanians who are waiting for my fight, I just want to tell you to have faith. Everything will be great for my first defense, God willing," Caballero said.
