WBA "regular" featherweight champion Celestino Caballero (35-4, 23KOs) feels great. The boxer is training in Japan for his first defense of the title on December 31st in Yokohama against hometown here Satoshi Hosono (21-1, 15KOs).

Earlier this week, Caballero was already weighing 130-pounds, which is four pounds away from the division limit of 126.

Trainer Jeff Mayweather. has been training Caballero's legs to be strong. He feels Caballero will have more power in his punches with his legs in top form.

Mayweather indicates that Caballero is not looking to take any chances, even with neutral officials. The Panamanian fighter wants to secure a knockout victory.

"The strategy is to get a knockout early because Caballero does not want to go twelve rounds," Mayweather said.
