UPDATE: Brook's promoter Eddie Hearn confirmed on Twitter that his boxer did indeed injure his foot and is currently receiving treatment. Hearn did not indicate if the injury is serious enough that his boxer needs to withdraw.

According to a report in UK outlet Daily Express , Kell Brook has suffered a foot injury in training and may withdraw from the rescheduled fight with IBF welterweight champion Devon Alexander, currently set for May 18th at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. The fight had already been postponed, twice, due to injuries. Originally it was set for January 19th, but Brook withdrew with an ankle injury. It was then set for February 23, but Alexander pulled out after hurting his bicep.

At the present, there has been no confirmation regarding the injury from Brook or his promoter, Eddie Hearn, or Alexander's promoter Golden Boy Promotions..
