This Saturday at the US Bank Arena in Cincinnati, undefeated Adrien Broner faces Vicente Rodriguez for the vacant WBO junior lightweight title in an HBO televised fight. Broner is a heavy favorite to capture the title, especially when you compare their common opponent - Australian William Kickett. Rodriguez (34-2-1, 18 KOs) lost a lopsided ten round unanimous decision to him, while Broner (21-0, 17 KOs) stopped him in six rounds.

Broner will enter the ring, fresh from the two biggest wins of his career - a twelve round decision over former world champion Daniel Ponce de Leon and a first round destruction of Jason Litzau. Even with the label of "heavy favorite" - Broner expects a tough and he wants to display his skills for the hometown crowd.

"We are ready for a tough fight. The hard work is done. It was a great camp. Every morning I'm running six miles. Monday, Wednesday and Friday I'm doing 14 to 20 rounds of sparring. After sparring I'm still putting in work and I'm not even breathing hard. I don't even need water. I'm ready. I'm just so ready to show off for my city," Broner said.
