After having incredible success at home during the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, Great Britain is on their way to even more medals during the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio.

Despite Pat McCormack falling to gold medal favourite Yasnier Toledo, Savannah Marshall and Joshua Buatsi both advanced with impressive performances and will be looking to guarantee medals in their next fights.

"Gonna give you the same answer... the church," Buatsi told NBC Sports' Chris Mannix on his success. "I've prayed for this, I've worked hard for it. My prayers have been answered.

Buatsi's power has been a game changer in both his fights so far, but he said it isn't something he relies on.

"I don't go in there and look for the stoppages, I go in there and box," Buatsi said. "The rest plays out the way it does."
