Former EBU/IBO champion Brian Magee (36-5-1, 25KOs) is planning to continue his career in 2014. Magee appeared to call it a day in December 2012, when Mikkel Kessler knocked him out in three rounds in Herning, Denmark. Magee plans to make comeback in the summer. Since 2006, Magee only lost three fights - to Carl Froch, Lucian Bute and Kessler.

“I will be back in the ring before the summer and I have been offered a few 12 round fights but I would rather have a six or eight rounder to get me back into it. I still have a few fights left in me, but they have to be fights that are right for me at this stage of my career,” Magee told Newsletter.
