On December 10 at the Convention Center in Washington, Amir Khan (26-1, 18KOs) will defend his WBA/IBF junior welterweight titles against mandatory challenger Lamont Peterson (29-1, 15KOs).

WBO champion Timothy Bradley (27-0, 11KOs) is the only boxer to defeat Peterson, with a twelve round unanimous decision in 2009. Bradley regards Peterson as a very live dog in the fight, and Bradley expects him to provide a much tougher challenge than most people are anticipating.

During the last few months, Khan has been very vocal about his desire to fight Bradley. However, Bradley has advised Khan to stay focused on the fight that's currently sitting on his plate.

"The [Peterson fight] is a tough fight for [Khan]. That's a really tough fight for him. He has to get past that first [before talking about me]. He has to get past Lamont. Lamont Peterson is going to give him some problems. Trust me, Lamont is going to give him some problems. I don't know why he's obsessed with me. He keeps constantly putting my name out there," Bradley told BoxingScene.com
