Scottrade Center, Saint Louis, Missouri - Lightweight contender Sharif Bogere (22-0, 14 KOs) stopped Sergio Rivera (25-9-2, 16 KOs) after three rounds of action. Bogere was too sharp, too fast and too active for Rivera, who never stopped trying - but he was taking enough punishment from the much faster Bogere to make him reconsider coming out for the fourth round and the fight was stopped.

Junior middleweight prospect Eddie Gomez (8-0, 6 KOs) won a six round unanimous over David Lopez (3-8-3). The scores were 59-55 and 60-54 twice.

Heavyweight contender Deontay Wilder (21-0, 21 KOs) continued his streak of stoppage wins, by taking out Marlon Hayes (23-11, 11 KOs) in four rounds. Wilder, a 6'7 Olympic bronze medal winner, overwhelmed an overmatched Hayes, who had no answers to Wilder's boxing ability and power.
