Tony Bellew (20-1, 12KOs) is siding with WBC light heavyweight champion Chad Dawson (31-2, 17KOs) to retain his title against Adonis Stevenson (20-1, 17KOs) on Saturday night at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada. Bellew recenly defeated Isaac Chilemba in a WBC final eliminator and now falls in line to fight Dawson-Stevenson winner. While Bellew picks Dawson to win, he views Stevenson as the better style matchup. And he doesn't have a problem flying out "to Canada and fighting Stevenson in his backyard."

"For me it's puncher against slickster, a serious puncher against a serious boxer. Everybody loves that. And two southpaws too, a serious puncher against a serious boxer. Stevenson has heavy power in both hands, he's a little bit wild, he doesn't have any regard for defense and he has been knocked, by a journeyman. If I was betting man, without a doubt I would be with Dawson. But if I could pick [one of them to fight], then it would be Stevenson because me and him would mean war," Bellew told Sky Sports Ringside.
