Former super featherweight champion Rances Barthelemy returns to the ring against Antonio DeMarco in a super lightweight tilt that headlines a special Sunday edition of Al Haymon's Premier Boxing Champions series. This Sunday's fight will air on CBS and take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Cuban fighters have faced criticism in recent years that while their style of boxing is unquestionably effective - it lacks in the type of action that most boxing fans crave.  Barthelemy said that he has definitely heard the comments but feels that it is unfair to lump all Cuban fighters together as having the same style.

"I've heard the criticism but I think it depends on the fighters.  In my case I like to exchange punches in the ring.  I don't fight the same as some of the other guys and I really haven't heard the criticism directed to me.

"I tell the fans on the social networks that we aren't all the same type of fighters.  It isn't right to judge everybody as being the same.  I have a style that is a little bit different than other fighters.  At the end of the day if you are winning fights, you are doing something right," Barthelemy told BoxingScene.com.
