BoxingScene.com and other members of the media recently caught up with WBO super middleweight champion Arthur Abraham (44-4) who faces his mandatory challenger Gilberto Ramirez (33-0) on Saturday night on the Manny Pacquiao-Tim Bradley pay-per-view undercard.  The clash takes place in Las Vegas, Nevada at the MGM Grand.

Abraham will be fighting in the United States for the fourth time in his career and for the first time in Las Vegas.  He routinely draws big crowds in his home base of Germany.

Even though he is treated like a rock star in Germany, he is still very excited to fight in Las Vegas on a big PPV undercard.

"Of course (I am happy to fight at the MGM Grand on a Pacquiao card). Pacquiao is Pacquiao. He has a big history. He is an eight division champion. He is a great champion and has made history and I can make history too," stated Abraham.

The 36-year-old said that he has watched many fight at the MGM Grand over the years and has great admiration for Floyd Mayweather's accomplishments.  He feels that Mayweather is the best of this generation.

"I remember Mike Tyson fights. (Julio Cesar) Chavez fights.  I have seen too many fights (laughing). Mayweather, he is the best of the best. I see those fights. These are the best fights. Mayweather showed what you can achieve in (the sport of) boxing," Abraham said.
