Welterweight contender Artemio 'King' Reyes Jr. (23-2, 19KOs) has inked a managerial contract with Frank Espinoza.

Among the notable fighters handled by Espinoza include hot featherweight contender Oscar Valdez, unbeaten Jessie Magdaleno, rising undefeated welterweight Antonio Orozco, Francisco Santana and several others.

Reyes is ready to resume his career after being away from the ring since November 2014.

Reyes suffered his last defeat back in April of 2012, when he was caught cold and suffered a shocking first round knockout to Alan Sanchez, who last week defeated world title challenger Pablo Cesar Cano in Las Vegas and prior to that knocked out unbeaten John Karl Sosa. Reyes had previously beaten Sanchez by decision in their first meeting in 2010.

The first loss of his career came in his second pro fight, a four round decision loss to the very talented Mike Dallas Jr., who on Friday was the recipient of what many felt was a controversial draw against Dusty Harrison.

Since the loss in 2012, Reyes has won eight fights in row. His last seven wins have come by way of knockout.

"Artemio Reyes is a very talented fighter. He has heavy hands and I think he's a very dangerous fighter. The welterweight division is loaded and I believe it's still wide open since Floyd Mayweather Jr retired last year. There are so many opportunities for him at the weight and I plan to work very hard to get him the biggest fights possible," Espinoza said to BoxingScene.com.
