With only three matches on the docket, three gold medals were handed out during Day 15 at the Rio Olympics.

Nicola Adams impressed in her gold medal match, becoming a two-time Olympic champion in the process. Adams defeated France's Sarah Ourahmoune via unanimous decision.

It was heartbreak for USA Boxing's Shakur Stevenson, who came up short in a split decision to Cuba's Robeisy Ramirez. Stevenson is considered one of USA's most interesting prospects coming out of the Olympics and will be a hot commodity amongst promoters in the coming months and years.

In the middleweight final, Cuba's Arlen Lopez defeated Bektemir Melikuziev of Uzbekistan to take the gold medal.
