After more than a four year absence from the sport of boxing, Antonio Margarito (38-8, 27KOs) return to the ring has been finalized.

"It's a done deal,"confirmed his co-manager Sergio Diaz, on Tuesday."Tony's coming back March 5th in Mexico City. He's going to be facing Jorge Paez Jr."

This event will take place at Arena Ciudad de Mexico and be televised by TV Azteca. As for who will be promoting this, Diaz explained,"Antonio's promoter is Top Rank buyt Zanfer Promotions going to be promoting this show in Mexico. I believe it's going to be a co-promotion."

Moving forward, Diaz says that they aren't really adhering to any particular time frame with Margarito's career.

"We're just going to take it fight to fight. Even Antonio wants to take it fight for fight. So we'll see, he'll fight in March and depending on how he does and how he feels, we'll think about the second fight after the March event,''said Diaz.

Margarito last fought in December of 2011 where he was stopped in nine rounds by Miguel Cotto at the Madison Square Garden in New York in what was a contentious rematch.

"It's not about the time but really each fight. He'll do the fight in March, we'll sit down, discuss and if he feels as if he can still continue, we'll keep going,"continued Diaz, who says his fighter is currently training in San Diego.

"He's happy and ready to go."
