Charismatic fighter Jorge "Maromerito" Paez will return to the ring on Saturday, December 3 at the Los Mochis Centennial Sports Center in Sinaloa - where he will face Johnny "Vaquero" Navarrete.

Originally, former world champion Antonio "Tony" DeMarco would was going to be the star attraction this Saturday, but for technical reasons it was postponed a week to the same card as Paez.

But, the former WBC lightweight beltholder has asked his promoters to push back his ring return until the month of January in 2017 in order to make several adjustments.

"Maromerito" Paez (39-8-2, 23 KOs) wants to close the year with a great victory and return to the road that will lead him to a world welterweight title.

The last fight of Páez, 28 years old, was held in March in the Arena Mexico City when he faced ex-world Antonio ¨Tornado¨ Margarito, in a fight that was very exciting. He had Margarito down and very hurt, but couldn't finish and ended up losing a close points decision.

"Maromerito" will not have an easy night in Los Mochis, Sinaloa when he will be opposite  "Vaquero" Navarrete (32-8-1, 15 KOs), who in July shocked undefeated prospect Juan "Juanito" Montiel in a dramatic fight.

Also on the card, Eduardo "Zurdito" Ramírez (18-1-2, 7 KOs) faces undefeated Edivaldo "Indio" Ortega (24-0- 1, 11 KOs) over ten rounds.

The sensational Jose Manuel "Big Bang" Sánchez (14-2, 8 KOs) will fight with former world champion Mario "Dragoncito" Rodríguez (19-12-4, 12 KOs) over ten rounds.

Adrián "Chinito" Young  (23-3, 18 KOs) faces Carlos "Torito" Jiménez (10-7-1, 6 KOs).
