Former EBU middleweight champ Amin Asikainen (29-4) returned for a one fight comeback and outscored Croatian Ivan Jukic over six tonight (April 22) in Lappavirta (Finland).

After six rounds, the judges all had it 60-54 for Asikainen, who now can leave the ring as a winner. According to ringside observers the 40-year old Asikainen looked good and was as always in excellent shape.

In other action, super featherweight contender Tuomo Eronen (16-4)  knocked out Milan Savic (3-17-2) in the second and hard punching welterweight Nordeen Toure (7-1) took out Imre Simon (7-16) in the first.

At the Orient Theatre in East London, Eastern Cape, South Africa - former WBA featherweight champion Simpiwe Vetyeka was too much for inexperienced Japanese contender Tsuyoshi Tameda, only 22-years-old. Vetyeka dominated his way to a ten round unanimous decision before his hometown fans. The scores were 100-91, 99-92 and 99-92.

Vetyeka record was raised to to 29-3, 17KOs and Tameda dropped down to 13-2-2, 11KOs.
