Univent, headed by Sebastian Acaries, will stage a big show on December 17 in Saint Denis on the island of Reunion in the Indian Ocean. On the card, WBA interim middleweight champion Alfonso Blanco (12-0) will defend the title against former WBO king, Hassan N´Dam (34-2).

It will be Blanco´s first defence of the title he won over a year ago. For N'Dam, it's his first fight since the failed stint in the Olympics.

Also on the bill are some of the best French fighters such as middleweight Michel Soro (28-1-1), super middleweight Mickael Diallo (14-0-2) and cruiserweight Arsen Goulamirian (18-0).

Former EBU champ and world title challenger Pietro Aurino (39-3) returned Friday night (November 18) to the ring in Latina after eight years out and it was a success as he knocked out Elidon Gaba in the first round. Gaba is now 1-12 so it was not exactly a contender in the ring with Aurino.

On Saturday night (Nov 19) in Manzano Mohammed Obbadi (11-0) won the vacant EU flyweight title on a majority decision over Silvio Olteanu (16-11-1). After twelve rounds of boxing the judges had it 118-109, 116-112 and 114-114.
