Meadowbank Sports Centre, Edinburgh, Scotland - Former WBO super featherweight champion Alex Arthur (30-3, 21KOs) stopped Aleksander Vakhtangashvili (8-4-1) in the fourth round of a one-sided contest. Arthur was ripping shots to the body and scored three knockdowns in the fight. Arthur is looking to have another tuneup before he targets a title shot opportunity.

In the co-feature, welterweight Kevin McIntyre (30-8) surived two knockdowns in the first round to win a close decision over Gary McMillan (12-3). The sole score came from referee Kenny Pringle, with razor-thin 95-94 tally.

Super middleweight contender  Kenny Anderson (14-1, 10KOs) crushed Sheffield's Lee Duncan with a hard right hand in the fourth round. Anderson might be heading to a rematch with Commonwealth/British champion George Groves.
