On December 19th WBC light heavyweight champion Adonis "Superman" Stevenson will make the fourth defense of his title when he faces Dmitry Sukhotsky (22-2) in Quebec City, Quebec in the main event of a Showtime televised quadrupleheader.

The 37-year-old Stevenson said that his training has been on point and that he will be ready to go on fight night.

"My camp has been very good.  It has gone very well.  Everything is set and we are training very hard for this fight.  I have seen a couple of his fights.  He is a tough guy that comes to fight and I know he will come to fight on December 19th and that is why I am preparing very well," said Stevenson.

2013 was a busy campaign for Stevenson as he fought four times and captured Fight of the Year honors.  The Sukhotsky fight will only be his second fight of the year but Stevenson said that the rest has done him good.  However he hopes to be busier in 2015.

"In 2013 I fought four times.  This year has been good for me because my body has been able to recover.  Four fights is a lot.  This year I have two fights and in 2015 I want three fights.  I want two or three but I would prefer to have three fights next year," Stevenson told BoxingScene.com.

Stevenson is focused on Sukhotsky but said that when this fight is over he is willing to fight whoever his adviser Al Haymon puts in front of him.

"You know I will fight anybody.  I am ready for anybody out there.  Whoever Al Haymon puts in there I am ready," Stevenson stated.
